B-Town Days 4,5, and 6

In my last post I mentioned that I wasn't feeling well. I started to get a sore throat on Wednesday afternoon, but figured it was just allergies. Boy, was I wrong. I spent Thursday and Friday in bed in the hotel room not wanting to move. I had an ear ache, my throat was killing me, and despite the laws of physics, my nose was both runny and stuffed at the same time. I just was not feeling well at all. Friday night, I took some benadryl hoping it would help, but was up all night Friday night because I could not get comfortable and get to sleep. I even stood up and walked around the room to try to get my sinuses to drain so I could at least get relief from that. No such luck.
Saturday morning my dad and I woke up, got packed and left the hotel to head home. By the time we hit Twin Falls I was in so much pain I couldn't take it anymore. We decided to stop at an urgent care clinic.
Thank goodness we did. Come to find out, I had a bad ear infection, strep throat and a sinus infection. The doctor wrote a prescription and sent us on our way. At this point, we'd been on the road for about 3 hours (stop at the dr. office included). It then took us another 3 hours to find somewhere to fill the prescription because everywhere we went either didn't have the prescription or was out of it and couldn't fill it all, therefore couldn't give me any. Thank goodness Wal Mart in Pocatello had what I needed and was open late enough to be able to get it filled.
Today is Sunday, and I've been resting on the couch and still not feeling well, but I'm hoping the medicine kicks in soon and I'll be better shortly.
Needless to say, this trip to Boise was just not my cup of tea.

That's the trip wrap up!
Tissues, Meds, and Receipt from Doctor....Ugh!
