Another Gorgeous Day...Another Bump In The Road

Today Josh and Chelle came up to the valley for a while, and let me just say that it's always fun seeing them....I miss them like crazy, and that's no lie! Anyways, we all went to lunch together, then I invited Josh and Chelle back to my house to go on the four wheelers because it was a beautiful day again. As soon as we went out to start the four wheelers...surprise surprise, the one I can drive (the automatic one) would not start. Not only would it not start, it was ridiculously annoying and wouldn't do anything....so our day of four wheeling didn't go quite as planned....
Chelle and I waiting to go
Josh getting one of the machines started
Michael and Josh trying to figure out why that machine wouldn't start (it was a rough day. lol)
Josh and Chelle finally on their way...

So after they left, Michael and I kept trying to get the automatic started, and it was an epic fail. We could not get it to go no matter how hard we tried....so we finally decided that we just needed to get it going fast enough and do a running start....so that's what we tried...unfortunately...it was also an epic fail.
Ugh...BOO!!!!

So we all decided to go take them back to the house, put them up and move on with our day...maybe next time it will go a little smoother! Hahahaha
Thanks anyways...
I freaking love these two!! :)

Ok, so for the last part of the blog...I'm going to post 2 pics, and the goal is to see if you can spot the difference! Hahahahahahaha

Love you guys (Josh, Chelle, Michael)
Lets try again soon?!?!

Four Wheelin' On A Dirt Road

It's official: Today was GORGEOUS!! The weather was 50 degrees, a bunch of the snow has melted and I am one happy girl!! My little brother Michael was supposed to be in school 'til 3:15 but I called and got him out around 2:00 so we could hang out. I did not want to waste this beautiful day. So, we came home and got on the four wheelers and decided to go to the top of the pass. It was so fun! Mikey, you dabomb.com.

Cooper Jackson

Today was the day that my little cousin ("nephew") Cooper Jackson was due. He came early in the pregnancy, and although his time on this earth didn't last long, he's loved and missed. I just wanted to take a few minutes out of my day and recognize him and my cousins Jon and Alanna. They are truly amazing people, who have been such wonderful people in my life. I am so grateful to have them, and I know that they will be blessed for having been strong going through such a difficult time in their lives.  Thank you for being such good examples Jon and Alanna of how to stay strong and put your faith in the Lord during difficult times. I love you both so much. And Cooper, I love you so so much and can't wait until I can meet you and give you hugs and kisses.

"These are my footprints,
so perfect and so small.
These tiny footprints
never touched the ground at all.
Not one tiny footprint,
for now I have wings.
These tiny footprints were meant
for other things.
You will hear my tiny footprints,
in the patter of the rain.
Gentle drops like angel's tears,
of joy and not from pain.
You will see my tiny footprints,
in each butterflies' lazy dance.
I'll let you know I'm with you,
if you just give me the chance.
You will see my tiny footprints,
in the rustle of the leaves.
I will whisper names into the wind,
Most of all, these tiny footprints,
are found on Mommy and Daddy's hearts.
'Cause even though I'm gone now,
We'll never truly be apart."

Catching Up And Salt Lake Saturday

I keep trying to find cool things to blog about, but lets be honest...living in this valley, there isn't much new to blog about when it's winter time. Hopefully this summer it will be better. Hiking, fishing, camping, swimming, floating the river...I can't wait! Please hurry summer!!!! On that note, I did get to get out of the valley for a few days and go spend the weekend with TJ and his family. He has such a wonderful family and I really enjoyed spending time with them. They're great. They are super funny, and I laughed a lot. I can't wait to see them all again. Hopefully soon! So, on Saturday, TJ and I went to Salt Lake City, Utah to go to the Sportsman Exhibit. It was really neat. It was basically a floor show of all the newest camping, hunting, and hiking equipment, with lots of booths and tons of things to do! I'm already looking forward to next years. So, while we were there, TJ was looking at a pocket knife deal and it slipped and cut his finger. Not only did it cut it, but it bled quite a bit. He put pressure on it and got a paper towel and put around it. While we were walking around, trying to find a band-aid or something to stop the bleeding, I saw this line that had a picture of people holding baby bears. I HAD to stop and do it! So, my mind was on one track only, and that was holding the baby bear...instead of my wonderful boyfriend and his bloody finger. Needless to say, I was like a 2 year old in a candy store, and he was not happy that his finger wouldn't stop bleeding. So, he wanted to go look for something for his finger, but I asked him to stay and take the pic with me....thus the basis of his look in the pic. Hahahaha. He's not usually this grumpy....he had a good reason. And I'm the world's worst girlfriend for wanting to hold a baby bear more than wanting to help him! Hahahaha. Also, it's a picture of a picture, thus the basis of the glare...sorry people!

I seriously want a baby bear now! They are adorable....until they can eat you...
So this is the first time that I've been to TJ's parents house, and let me just say that I understand fully why he loves living in the country...the view off of the front porch is absolutely gorgeous. I loved it. I actually miss walking outside and seeing it!

Needless to say...I will be going back soon!!
Also, while I was there, TJ gave me a ring of his. I wear it now every day. It's nice to have it because every time I miss him I look down at it and as cheesy as it is, it makes me feel a little closer to him. :) Thanks babe!

So this morning I was talking to Candyce and Chris called her so she put me on hold. When she got back on the phone with me, she said that Paisley had been cut and they were taking her to the hospital because they thought she needed stitches. I absolutely love her, and my heart sank. When I got to the hospital to be with them, she had been crying for a while, but she was so tough for being as little as she is. I was so proud of her. She had to get quite a few stitches, and her foot was broke open pretty bad. It was sad to watch her cry, but she did good, and now she's all stitched up and hopefully she'll be feeling better in about a week.
Love you Ms. Pais!!!

Getting stitches- these pics don't even show really how deep or bad it was...
After her stitches!
Poor girl!

Anyways, that's about it in my little world! I'll post again the next time something exciting happens! Haha.
