A Little Bit Of This, A Little Bit Of That

Epic fail blogging? I'll go ahead and be exhibit A...Not a whole lot goes on around here, so I don't have a lot to blog about. So, today you get a little bit of this and a little bit of that (which in my head I write and sing to the tune of "you can get with this, or you can get with that...).
Ok, first things first- It's now 2012! Woot woot. Definitely got things started off right. I met the most amazing guy the end of last year named TJ. He is great. I spent New Years with him and his mom and dad and his Aunt Kathy and her family. It was an absolute blast. I've known Kathy since I was little because she was my Achievement Day leader and her and my mom work together. Kathy is the one who introduced TJ and I. She's great! So, we watched movies, played a card game, and hung out, then rang in the New Year. It was a lot of fun.
TJ and I
We don't live in the same place so we only get to see each other occasionally, which sucks, but it's always good to see him and spend time with him. He's incredibly good looking- I know! Hahahaha. But even better than that, he's such a great guy! Seriously....
Ok, now enough about that...
My little Greenlei is 9 months old! Where the heck has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday she was born. Ugh. It's so hard to have  Josh and Michelle and the girls not living here anymore because I haven't really gotten to see her grow up, so every time I see her it's like she's grown so much. She's so cute. Seriously. Still my little chubs. I freaking love it! So I look like poop in this picture, but I don't care, it's the most recent one I have...
How freaking adorable are those eyes?! I love this girl!!!

So, I'm still watching Paisley and Reece, but now only a couple days a week because I'm also working at a gym/physical therapist office. It's fun, but I wish I had the girls more! Ha. So, Paisley has this thing she does where she'll make the funniest face ever if you do it first. The next picture demonstrates that face- also it demonstrates the reason I need a nose job...yep!
She scrunches her nose like that and makes this funny face and goes "Na na na na" hahahaaha. It's freaking adorable.
This is Reecey and Paisley the other day. Paisley had her hair in pigtails. It was adorable. These two are so cute!

And now- the main event for my blog- it's a freaking nightmare winter wonderland here....yep...horrid. We have been having such a good winter so far, and by good I mean, I could still wear flats, and I could walk around without getting the bottom of my pants wet. Hahahaha. It's a good thing my parents got me some good winter boots this year, because I'm definitely going to need them now. So it started snowing and blowing yesterday, and I knew it was going to be bad...but I didn't know this is what I was going to wake up to....
This is the front door to our house, and as you can see, there is a slight wall building up...this was about 2 hours ago, so I'm sure it's more of a wall by now.
So, this is our "walkway" which has 3 steps off the front porch- the snow right at the bottom is probably close to 3 1/2-4 feet....
Ok, so in the above picture please take note- the Expedition is sitting in the driveway on the right hand side. The snowbank starts at about the same height as the hood- on the left hand side of the brick beam area, you can see that the snow bank takes a dramatic upward incline...that area I would guess is probably over 5 feet tall. If I get brave enough, at some point today, I may put on warm clothes and test that theory...don't hold your breath...but if I do, I'll take pics and post.
Long story short- I'm staying inside today unless I a) test my theory and b) have an emergency..that's it...

I hope everyone is having a fantastic 2012. If it's the end of the world this year, at least I'm goin' out happy!!

PEOPLE-----I DID IT! I PLAYED IN THE SNOW....(See Proof Below!!!)
This is Michael testing the snow depth- you couldn't go all the way to the ground because the snow was too packed.

Next Michael thought it would be a good idea to football-style tackle me into the snow....
It isn't as easy as you would think trying to stand back up in snow like this- so Michael just kind of rolled his way to a point where he could stand up and I was throwing massive amounts of snow on top of him to make it more difficult. My mom was taking the pics, and our heads are cut off, but oh well
^Totally retarded face^
So I was wearing my old boots (I didn't want to get my new ones soaked) and the snow is INCREDIBLY slick...so I was walking down the slight hill area and Michael was joking and acted like he was going to tackle me again and I reacted and 110% fell right on my butt/back and hit my head on the snow. I was laughing like crazy..then I saw this picture my mom took and laughed even harder. As you can see, my family is loving- my mom's taking pictures and Michael is clearly just walking away from the scene of the accident HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
And then we hugged it out....

Oh Mikey, how I love you!!! Lets not do this again soon!
