Bit By The Travel Bug

Ok, so the last blog was focused on traveling to areas around where I live/have lived. Now I will share my legit traveling pictures and stories!!
So the first vacation I will share is Vegas, Baby, Vegas. It was in April and we went as a group. Nick and I and our friends Matt and Anahi. We had an absolute blast!

Then there was Florida. Florida was my favorite vacation thus far. Nick and I went for one week to Orlando for his birthday. Neither of us had ever been there before, so it was fun to discover all of the new things together for the first time.

We Swam In This Hot Spring- Which Had Water Mocassins, Alligators, Alligator Gars, Etc...It Was Totally Worth It!

Visited Sea World For The Day

One of the days we were in Florida we went to a place called Siesta Keys Beach. It's South of Tampa, and it was the most amazing beach I've ever been to. The sand is as white as snow, and soft like baby powder. The water wasn't clear blue or anything, but it was warm, and if you swam for a little while in the ocean, you ended up on a sandbar a ways out. It was crazy fun. It was also the first time I've ever swam in the ocean!

On the day that we went swimming at the Blue Springs National Park (The Hot Springs Pictured Above), the Walters were kind enough to be the ones to take us and show us around. They were so great. They took us swimming at the hot spring, then took us to eat at this incredible restaurant right on the lake, where I got to eat alligator. (It was tasty.) And took us on a ride around the lake. It was beautiful! So- a BIG thank you to the Walters.

The Beautiful Sunset As We Were Going Back That Night
That, I Have To Say, Was A Perfect Day!

Next on the list is a trip to San Diego, California. We went to hang out for a week because my cousins Jonathan and Alanna were having their wedding at Point Loma. It was a beautiful wedding, which of course I will share pictures of, and I am so glad Alanna is in our family now!

The day of the wedding we went to the USS Midway, which is a ship in the San Diego bay that is still a working, running ship which you can tour. It was great.

Then we headed over to Point Loma, which is the Navy Base in San Diego to get ready for the wedding.

Then we had to go home :(

Nick and I went back to Vegas, and he took me to see the Hoover Dam for the first time! It was great. We went down inside as well, but didn't do the full tour. It's a pretty neat story and tour. We also got to go to Phantom Of The Opera at the Venetian. It was seriously amazing!!

And Of Course, In Vegas, You Have To Get A Little Crazy...

And recently I went to Vegas, and Mikey and I roamed the streets of Vegas all day and all night. We got to Vegas at 1:30am Saturday morning and left at 6:00 am Sunday morning to come home.
