B-Town Day 2

I know, my post titles are not creative at all. I'm tired, and my voice is almost gone and my creativity is 120% gone.
So today was the second day here in Boise, and the first day of my dad's classes. He got up and left to go to the class and I of course slept, then got ready to go meet him for lunch. It was warm today and I walked around without a jacket, but the wind was blowing like crazy, which was slightly annoying, considering I'm trying to get at least a base tan! hahaha.
When I am not holding my hair back
Holding my hair back

So after dad was let out for lunch we walked just a few doors down to my absolute most favorite restaurant in the entire world. It's called Mai Thai and it's so freaking good. They used to only have it in Eagle, Idaho, but now they have it downtown in Boise. It is so freaking amazing. I wish we had one in Driggs.
That's the outside
That's the inside. Now tell me that's not cool?!?! And the food is freaking delicious. I'm actually going to try to talk my cousin Levi into going there again tomorrow. Haha.
So after lunch, I walked back to the hotel for a little nap time. I need my naps or I'm cranky. Haha. But when I got back I hung out and watched tv for a while and listened to iTunes first. This was the set up on my bed:
Because frankly, who doesn't love sugar cookies, Diet Pepsi, Gushers and good music?!

So after I took a nap I got up and got ready to go to the hockey game tonight. It was the A game of the playoffs for the Boise Steelheads.

I don't know why I look better in the hotel room right after doing my makeup than I do 20 minutes later at the hockey game, but whatever...

After we got ready to go, we went to Pita Pit to grab some dinner. I freaking love Pita Pit. And we sat and ate it in the arena area outside!

And now pics from the hockey game:
!!!!Center Ice!!!!
We sat center ice with the opposing team's box right next to us (as you can see behind me in the pic)
Getting the game started with the National Anthem. The team in blue is Ontario, Canada (opposing team)

So within the first period, a guy (#5) from Ontario shoved one of Boise's players into the wall. He hit directly on his head and bounced of the wall. He was down for a while. I'm sure he has a concussion.
#5- Olson
Olson did not get a penalty and didn't spend any time in the box- which I still don't understand...
Boise boy skated away from the incident though...hopefully to the back of an ambulance...
I think I found my new favorite player....strictly based on his last name....
So Sharyn Hastings and her husband were at the game, and it just so happened that we sat right across the stair area from them..Sharyn kept getting into it with the mascot. It was funny.
The bear mascot came over and danced with me to the song "Jump Around" but he wanted me to dance on the chair and it got a little awkward...also, I did not take a pic of that lol.
So the whole reason I love to go to hockey games is for the fights, which there were a few of tonight...
With a little over one minute left in the game, Boise was winning by 1 point (it was 3:2) and Ontario decided that they were going to take their goalie out to put more pressure on them. (This happens often in games)
It didn't work...
Boise won 3:2
^ Victory Skate ^

It was a blast. I had a great time! I love hockey!

And on a completely unrelated note....if you walk from the arena area to our hotel through the shortcut, you walk past these light things, which make weird noises. I don't exactly understand it..something about making the movement of people be set to sounds and the birds get scared so they won't pick the apples from the trees or something...I don't know, but they creep me out and they are weird.
