Gonna Soak Up The Sun...

The day after the concert, I woke up and of course played with my favorite girls :) Please excuse the fact that I do NOT have makeup on, and that I literally had just rolled out of bed. The bottom line- makeup in a pain in the arse and I wasn't in the mood to put it on. lol.

After we were done playing Josh decided he wanted to go grab some lunch and go to get some ice cream at a place I'd never been before. It was a great decision and the ice cream was beyond delicious. I will definitely be going back. When we got to the ice cream place (dairy) we went and played with the animals...
Piggies:
Baby Cows:
The Horsey, which Greenlei wasn't loving at first, but warmed up to it! Haha
After we pet the animals, we went inside to get some ice cream....
LOL. It was fun. Thanks fam!! :)
After that, I went home and got packed and  headed to TJ's for a few days. It was so much fun. I enjoy time with his family so much and they are more than loving and welcoming. I miss them already and can't wait to see them all again soon. I should have gotten more pics, but while I was there I really only got pics of the horses. I never thought I'd be much of a "horse girl" but I seriously love them. PS I'm sure I'm spelling their names wrong, but some day I'll figure out the right spelling and change it lol.
First off- here is the view off TJ's front porch...isn't it beautiful?
Here's Honey:
Star And Honey (Mommy): (That's her name for now, but only TJ and I use it lol)
Star and Eddie: They love each other lol
Eddie:
Pilgrim:
Gilly and my man:
So much fun to see the horses and get to interact with them. I love them all!!
After we spent a few days with TJ's family we headed here to spend time with my family. While he was here we decided to go up in to the mountains and see if we could find a lake. It didn't go so well. We didn't find the lake and it was a bumpy ride. Also, I just got out of the shower when we decided to do this, so once again, please excuse the no makeup.
^ All shoved in to TJ's little truck- he was being a smart ass with that smile lol^
Here is a picture I took of the mountains as we were driving....
And here's a pic of TJ and I when we jumped out of the truck to walk around for a minute
Yep, he looks pissed, but he really wasn't...and can I just point out how dark he is? No joke, he's my Indian Outlaw. Haha.
Needless to say, it was a good time, and the more time I spend with him the more I see how much I love him. He's pretty much amazing...and can I say INCREDIBLY good looking too?!?! I'm such a lucky girl ;) Thanks babe!

B-B-B-B-BOYZ II MEN

It's official- I saw Boyz II Men in concert. It was great. Even better- I MET BOYZ II MEN!!! Woot Woot!!! Ok, call me crazy, that's fine, because I did get a little crazy, but it was seriously one of the coolest moments of my life. I absolutely love Boyz II Men, and have since I was little. TJ and I were going to go together, but he had to go to work in ND, so my BFF Michelle went with me. Thanks girl!! In reality, as much as I missed TJ, it was probably best that Chelle went instead, considering I was a little crazy.
So, Friday, we left from the valley and drove to Josh and Chelle's house to drop them off, and then head out. It was adorable because the last part of the ride, Greenlei was riding like this, and it was hilarious. Like she was just annoyed with all of us and wanted us to shut up.
Isn't she a cutie? Anyways, after we dropped them off at the house, Chelle and I were on our way...this is kind of a crappy picture, but it's really the only one I took of us driving.
After we drove for a few hours, we stopped in Salt Lake City to have lunch with my cousins Jonathan and Alanna. I freaking love them and I seriously was beyond excited to see them. I can't wait for them to move to SLC already so that I can see them on a regular basis.

It was great to get to see them and I can't wait to see them again soon. :) After we were done in SLC, we headed for Wendover to the concert. I haven't ever been to Wendover, nor have I been to what's called "The Salt Flatts". Let me just say, it's pretty much awesome. I'm not gonna lie. I think Michelle thought I was slightly crazy, but it's all good. First, there is the view...seriously, the pictures aren't even close to how pretty the view is. There is a town called Toelle (pronounced Two-ill-uh) and I could seriously live there to see the view every day, but TJ said no deal. Haha. Here are a couple pics I snapped out of the window as we were driving.

After that, there are these areas along the side of the road where it's just sand for miles and miles and miles...or at least what you think is sand. Apparently it's salt from the Great Salt Lake. That's what they call the Salt Flatts. So, of course, I made Michelle pull over and let me play in the sandy/salty stuff. Hahahaha. Thanks Chelle!

And here is a picture of one of the factories where they actually make salt- like the kind you put on your dinner table. At this point, you're probably laughing, but I seriously thought this was the coolest thing ever.
The next picture is a tower of some kind, but I'm still not sure for what?! Maybe cell phone???

The next stop was Wendover. As you drive in to town, you pull up on the Montego Bay, which is part of 3 resorts there. Frankly, it's a crap hole town. lol. But, if it means I get to see Boyz II Men, I'll go time and time again.
After 6.5 hours of driving we made it to the concert hall to see Boyz II Men
And my face when I saw that sign went something like this:
Hahaha. I was beyond excited, and yes, therefore looked completely stupid. And I don't even care.
Here's Michelle and I with our tickets, in front of the concert hall waiting to go inside:
Finally inside:
So it's at this point when I find out that you can buy VIP Backstage Passes and meet the band after the concert. Of course I was on board for this 150%. So I got us a couple VIP passes. Best. Decision. Ever.
And then the concert started...and of course there are like 5 billion pictures, so sit back, relax, scroll through and ENJOY:
Needless to say, they were everything I had expected and hoped for and more. It was awesome. Next came time for backstage... :)
Our autographed VIP Backstage Passes:

Jade And Boyz II Men:
Chelle and Boyz II Men:
Epic. Right?!?! We know. :)
So, in line to meet them, we met a bat shit insane woman and she had gotten one of the roses that they handed out during the concert...so we decided to borrow it and take some pics. The Bachelor- Boyz II Men Style...of course Chelle and I got roses and GLADLY accepted them. LOL

Then we hung our Backstage Passes and drove all the way (another 6 hours) home. :)

Thank You Boyz II Men and Chelle. One of my favorite nights/road trips ever.  Yaay!!
