Brandon came home from his mission on May 17th. I know I'm late, but it's been a little crazy around here. So, we had a group of people that decided they wanted to be at the airport when he flew in, which was nice. He flew in to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the weather was horrid. Luckily his flight came in regardless, and we all got to see him and welcome him home.
Here is his plane when it landed:
So as soon as the plane landed my mom went into crazy woman mode and was freaking out hard core. Brandon's walk from the plane to the doors was literally the longest moment of time ever. Mom was going crazy, and I was trying to keep it together, but the tears definitely fell....
Check out mom's expression/hands...epic. So obviously this is of us watching him walk down the hallway.
Best moment ever:
And the group family hug
Getting a bear hug from my little bro! :)
Everyone was crying...but it was a good cry!
Mom and Brandon talking..
Family Picture Time
And Brandon speaking to everyone:
After we picked him up we went a fabulous Mexican restaurant and had lunch with everyone, then hurried home and met with the Stake President and got him released from being a missionary. That night, we came back to the house and lit off some fireworks to welcome him home. The pics are of all of us, but I look especially bad since I'd been crying all day, so please excuse the horridness. Haha.
Paul came over to hang out for fireworks
As you can see, Brandon hasn't changed much...still a weirdo...
TJ and I hung back while Brandon lit off the fireworks and did his thing
After the fireworks we called it a night and went to bed.
The next day the guys decided they were going to go fishing. I sent my camera and begged them to take some fun pics, but they only came back with like 4. Haha. They had a blast though, and my brothers loved hanging out with TJ.
They had a good day, and that night we decided to have a little fire and chill. The bad part was that the breeze was freezing cold, and it only lasted a while, but it was fun nonetheless. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful brothers and such a great boyfriend. Thanks guys!
^The Wolf Pack^
Brandon was laughing about something, and almost fell into the wood pile, but ended up being smart enough to avoid the wood pile and land on the ground, but then continued laughing, which in turn made the rest of us laugh...
The boys thought putting a burning log straight up in the fire was a good idea, and then Michael found another one to poke the one in the middle...still pyros those two....
And in more exciting news....TJ's horse Honey just had her little baby girl. She is so freaking adorable and I can NOT wait to go see her in a couple weeks!
