Wow things have been super duper crazy the past little while. So much is going on through the rest of this month, and I haven't blogged for a while, so I figured that it's about time I post another one. So, this is the "catch up blog" to get everyone caught up with what has been happening through the last few weeks.
First of all, my Aunt Linda got married to Uncle Mike- I've been referring to him as Uncle Mike since I met him. I really like him and I wish them lots of love and happiness. :)
For the wedding I helped my Aunt Linda pick out her dress, had the bouquet made, and did her hair. She looked absolutely gorgeous.

After the ceremony, Aunt Linda gave me a gorgeous watch for helping out. It was a bunch of fun and I'm so glad that I got to be a part of it!
The week after that we had the opportunity to go to Ogden, Utah to Elder Austin Pratt's homecoming. Elder Pratt served with my little brother in the St. Louis, Missouri mission, and they became great friends. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer last year, Elder Pratt was the one who helped Brandon through the tough times when he was far from home and really not aware of everything that was going on. Elder Pratt will forever hold a special place in our family's hearts. Shortly after meeting Elder Pratt, I knew exactly why him and Brandon got along so well together. They are a lot alike in the sense that they are really dedicated to their mission, but fun and laid back when given the opportunity. While we were talking to Elder Pratt's parents, we got introduced to another couple who's son is still in the mission field, and who had served with Brandon shortly after he served with Elder Pratt. They are the Clarks. They were so nice and it felt like one big family. We had a great time getting to know everyone, and can't wait until the time that Elder Clark and Brandon are all home from their missions and the three elders can catch up.

After we took this picture, Elder Pratt ran into the house and grabbed his "big tie" because it was a big joke back in St. Louis. These boys are super funny!
Yep- That's "The Tie" lol
Needless to say we had a really good time getting to meet and visit with Elder Pratt and his family, and the Clarks. We hope to see them all soon!!
