The weekend of July 4th this year was probably one of my all time favorites. The weather was incredible, the activities were awesome, and there were so many people it actually made me feel like I lived in civilization. It was fantastic.
Saturday July 2nd, Huntsman Springs did the annual "Celebrate America". This is the second year in a row and it was so much bigger and better than last years, which I didn't think was possible. I might dare say I would come back next year if I move. They had a bouncy castle and electronic bull riding and other fun things like that for the kids, as well as comedians, magicians, and music for everyone. You did not have to pay one penny to do any of that. If you wanted food and drink from the vendors, that was the only thing that cost money, but you were allowed to bring a cooler with anything you wanted as well. I couldn't believe how much they did for our community. There were a bunch of people there, all having an absolute wonderful time and enjoying the nice warm weather.

Cammie is Steve and Martha's daughter- they are good family friends, and we were super glad that they decided to come spend the day with us in the valley. They are tons of fun to be around.
I Of Course Got Bored And Decided To Have A Mini Photo Shoot Haha
It Was So Nice Outside!
Next, Glenn Beck spoke for about an hour, or hour and a half, and since I personally don't like him, I just put my headphones in and listened to a pretty good mix of music while watching the sun go down. It was great. A gorgeous night.
Next, came the amazing fireworks. They did the fireworks so that they were synchronized with the music, and in between they played videos that they had taken of people from the valley who had served. It was awesome. Very emotionally charged.
It was great. Thank you so much to the Huntsman Family for all that you do for cancer research and treatment, as well as the wonderful things you provided to Teton Valley this year for our Fourth of July Celebrations. You are an amazing family.
The next day was Sunday, and we just hung out and relaxed at home, which was much needed and so nice.
Monday we went to the Victor Parade and then hung out at the booths in the park.
After we were done hanging out there, Nick and I went over to see Josh and Michelle and the girls. They moved recently, and I have to say I miss them tons and tons already and a) they really aren't that far away and b) it's only been like 3 days since I've seen them. Haha.

For some reason there is tons of flooding on the road that my Uncle Craig and Aunt Sandy live on, so I had to get a picture.
After we were done there, I met up with Nick and we went to the firework show in Idaho Falls on the river. It was fun, but definitely didn't have anything on Huntsman's show. There were a couple cool things though, like the fact that they flew a big flag from the back of a fire engine using the ladder:
It was a wonderful 4th of July, and I hope it will be as good next year. I loved it.
Thank you to all of those who have served, do serve, and will serve. Your love and dedication is recognized and much appreciated.
Thank You!
