My Family

So today I was thinking about my family and how much they mean to me. I have a wonderful family. They aren't just family, they are best friends too. So, I'm going to take a little time to introduce my family, so that everyone knows a little more about me growing up and how I became who I am today.

I was born in November 1987. My family consists of my parents, and 2 little brothers. So, to start with...my parents:

Mom and Dad- New Years 2011

My mom and dad have been married for 25 years. They are wonderful parents. If you ever need anything, my parents will do anything and everything to help you out. I can talk to them about anything and everything. We laugh together, we cry together, and sometimes fight together ;) But at the end of the day, we always solve the problem and say "I Love You".  My parents have taught me a lot of things, but the most important lesson I've learned from them is that you never know how long you have, and life is too short to be angry. Say I Love You as much as you can, and live life to the fullest. I hope someday to be half the mom/wife/friend/example my mom is to me, and I hope that my husband can love/provide/care for/teach our family the way my dad does for ours.
Thanks mom and dad!! I Love You!!

So- I was the first one born, and next was Brandon.

Brandon And I On My 21st Birthday 2008

Brandon and I are the best of friends- we are 3 years apart and even though I'm older, he still likes to tell me he's my "big brother" because he's much taller and bigger than me. (What he doesn't know is that since he's been on his mission, his little brother has outgrown him! ;)) Brandon is currently serving a mission in St. Louis, Missouri and has been out one year on May 12th. I am so incredibly proud of him and even though I miss him like crazy, I'm glad he's doing what he is. He is where he needs to be, and the people of St. Louis are so lucky to have him!! :)

And then there was Michael (or as we call him Mikey):

Michael and I- 4th Of July 2010

Michael and I are 6 years apart, and growing up him and Brandon were definitely closer than him and I were. Then Brandon left on his mission and Michael and I are extremely close now. He is also my best friend. He's such an amazing kid. He always makes me laugh, always gives me big bear hugs, and refuses to give me a kiss on the cheek 'cuz it embarrasses him. Haha. As you can tell, Mikey and I like to goof off!!

Ok, now for the extended family. I'm close to ALMOST everyone in my family, but there are certain people I am definitely closer to than others. So, to those people...I love you and thank you so much for the impact you have made on my life. :)

This is my Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. They pretty much raised me when I was younger, because my parents were both working full time jobs to make ends meet. I loved spending time with them when I was younger (and still love spending time with my Grandma Stewart now.) My Grandpa died when I was 9 years old and every day I miss him more and more. He was such an incredible man and I hope that when he looks down on me he's proud. My Grandma is the most loving and kind person you will ever meet in your life. She is incredibly close to the spirit and she's the "cookies and milk" kind of Grandma.

Grandma and I- 2010

Unfortunately, growing up I didn't get to know my Grandma and Grandpa Jackson as well as my Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. My Grandma Jackson spent most of her time in Salt Lake taking care of her mother and father who needed her help, and my Grandpa split his time between Salt Lake and Home. Because of that, I really don't have any pictures of us growing up, and I also don't have any pictures of us as I've gotten older. That's not to say I don't love my grandparents- they are wonderful people. My Grandma Jackson is incredibly devoted to whatever she puts her heart in to. She does a lot of Humanitarian work, and is constantly making new things. A lot of the clothes I wore when I was younger were made by her. My Grandpa Jackson is an incredibly fun loving, smart and caring person. If you ever need to know anything about anything- he's the guy to go to!!

Ok, the next people I talk about, I could literally write a book about how much I adore them. Yep- you guessed it- Josh and Michelle and "The Girls" as I refer to them. :) Throughout the past few years, I have grown so close to Josh and Michelle. Whenever I have a bad day they are there to cheer me up, when I need a lesson on being humble, they kick my butt at Monopoly and Phase 10- and when I need to feel like I have friends- they are there 'til 5 in the morning to hang out with, talk with, play games with, and watch movies with. Thank you so much Josh for marrying Michelle, because she's my best friend in the universe and I don't know what I'd do without her! And Michelle- thanks for marrying Josh, because of you we're a lot closer too! (Love you Joshey-poo!!) :) And the girls- what to say about them...they are absolutely ADORABLE and I love them with all of my heart. I call them my "nieces" because we are so close. They are fun, loving, spontaneous, and hilarious. I hope my kids are like them- which means, my kids have a lot to live up to! Hahaha.

Ok, so there's a ton more people I could write about on here..but then my post would be about 5 billion pages long. Haha. So, I'll end it for now.

Thanks for reading! :)
Stay Classy!
